WAGO Discrete I/O Modules

A wide range of compact discrete input modules—with 2, 4, 8, and 16 channels—for voltages of 5, 12, 24, 48, 60, 110, and 230 V AC and/or DC. Specialized discrete input modules are also available for motor overload protection with PTC sensors, access violation alarms, inductive sensors, and Namur.

The discrete output modules also range from 2 to 16 channels and support a variety of voltages and switching options (transistor and relay outputs).

WAGO Analog IO Modules

Compact analog input modules—with 1, 2, 4, and 8 channels for 0/4–20 mA and 0–10 VDC. Specialized modules are also available for thermocouples, NTC sensors, and electrical quantity measurement.

The analog output modules are available in 2-, 4-, and 8-channel configurations for 0/4–20 mA and/or 0–10 VDC with resolutions of 10, 12, and 16 bits.

WAGO Functional and Process Modules

For mechanical engineering and industrial automation, WAGO offers compact modules:

WAGO Safety Modules

Based on a risk assessment, safety functions can be implemented, e.g., by detecting presence or intrusions in a protected area, using double-safety-rated switches to immediately shut down the “hazard.”

For this purpose, safety signals are detected by the “yellow” safety modules and transmitted via the PROFIsafe protocol to a safety PLC for further processing. The result is then executed via a redundantly secured actuator (e.g., an output module or controller). The unique safety features of WAGO modules facilitate the achievement of safety up to Category 4/PLe according to EN 13849 or SIL 3 according to EN 62061/IEC 61511.

WAGO Explosion-Proof Modules (Ex)

For sectors like mining, chemical, and petrochemical industries, as well as in other industrial sectors, where operations involve explosive gas mixtures or flammable dust mixtures. In such environments, electrical equipment must be explosion-proof to prevent injuries and property damage.

Many of WAGO’s input/output modules are also available in a blue, explosion-proof (Ex) version. These modules are powered by a special power supply unit, which is also Ex-rated.
